an bis heute findet Alice in Wonderland von Lewis Carroll ungebrochenes Interesse bei Kindern, Erwachsenen, aber auch Ku\u0308nstlern aller Genres, die Alice als ku\u0308nstlerische Strategie, in der die Regeln der Wahrnehmung und der Logik einfach aufgehoben sind, fu\u0308r sich nutzen. In Text, Videospiel, Film, Bu\u0308hne und auch in Comicform kann man Alice bei ihren Verirrungen auf der Spur des wei\u00dfen Kaninchens begleiten. Interessanterweise war schon das Originalmanuskript von Carroll selbst, ebenso wie die Erstausgabe des Werkes mit Illustrationen versehen. Von Anfang an war Alice als komplexe Text-Bild-Kombination, als Gesamtkunstwerk konzipiert, in der zwei Ebenen der Darstellung im Rahmen einer intermedialen Narration unaufl\u00f6slich ineinandergreifen. So ist \u201eRevisiting Wonderland\u201c gleicherma\u00dfen inspiriert von den unz\u00e4hligen Illustrationen von Alice, wie dem Text dieses Klassikers der Weltliteratur selbst. Alice\u2018 Wahrnehmung der Welt und ihres K\u00f6rpers nehmen in \u201eRevisiting Wonderland\u201c zus\u00e4tzlich in einer Projektion Form und Gestalt an: Simon Rouby zeichnet, modelliert seine Alice, bricht ab, radiert, \u00e4ndert seine Figur wieder und beginnt aufs Neue. Dennoch oder gerade deshalb gewinnt sie immer mehr an Leben, wird realer und konkreter.
